I try to minimise my plastic use all year round but #plasicfreejuly is always my fav time to commit to the challenge and hustle on prioritising my healthy habits by saying no to plastic. Plastic isn’t just in the typical products we buy but also in the clothes we wear! Plastic materials, such as nylon and polyester, are used in some clothing and these synthetics are released as microplastics into our waterways when washed. This contributes up to 35% of the primary plastic polluting our oceans 😯 The best thing you can do is #movetonatural by choosing brands that don’t use plastic in their clothing.
