These afternoon naps are the *greatest* feeling in the world
A huge thank you to Dr. Brennan & his wonderful wife, Jais, as well as the staff at Lennox Hill for helping us bring our son into this (crazy) world. Thank you for continuing to be there for new families during this time.

Happy FBI Tuesday! Here’s some pics of my 8 month old belly and how I was able to keep working… lots of people tied my shoes for me! ❤️… and the last is how we prepared for intense scenes. #eyefarts #professionals

Definitely. That way.
Back for season 4… another insight into how we prepare for intense scenes.
TONIGHT!!! 8pm EST.
I am so proud to be a part of the @fbicbs team. With every episode we get to make, the love for my cast and crew grows. I consider myself blessed to have a season 4! Thank you to the fans who have invested in us, enjoy the finale tonight!
All these books are for Otis… I opened them to read for the first time and cried over the much needed reminders for myself.
Having a child is much harder than I thought, for reasons I didn’t anticipate. I am constantly reminded of my shortcomings and how sensitive I really am. All my survival tricks I learned along the way don’t cut it anymore. I cannot “do it all”… and actually, I don’t want to.
Of course, my natural goal is to be the best mom, wife and woman. And then I have to quietly remind myself what that looks like. That it’s showing up even though I’m really tired and impatient and sad and ALL the feelings I am forced to reckon with… and then discuss it. Being the “best” is being open and available to grow, NOT handling everything perfectly. I’m annoyed even typing this because I knoowwwwwwww this but I have to constantly choose the truth.
Anyways. This weekend, I pray you are able to connect in a meaningful way with your family as a lot of us were unable to physically be together.
I agree with this 💯
More than ever we need to be hopeful and share the damn toilet paper. ❤️❤️❤️ #Repost @brenebrown

Surviving this crisis will take a shift in mindset, and that’s tougher than we think – especially when we’re afraid.
Fear and anxiety can drive us to become very self-focused. This global pandemic is a real case of “getting sick together” or “staying well together.”
Our choices affect everyone around us. There is no such thing as “individual risk” or “individual wellness.”
This is the ultimate reminder that we are inextricably connected to each other. Turning away from collective action right now – as tempting as it is – will only generate more pain.
Owning and embracing our global interconnectedness (from a safe distance) and thinking about others as we make choices is, ironically, our only path to safety for ourselves and the people we love.
We can all get really shitty really fast when we’re afraid. I get it. I’m using deep breaths along with my personal mantra: ” Try to be scared without being scary.” Feel free to borrow both – they can help.
It’s also really normal for everyone to be on our nerves: The people who aren’t following the rules, the 10-second hand washers, etc. I get that too. TRUST ME.
But, like it or not, we just can’t give up on people. We’re all we have.
Stay awkward, brave, and kind. Love each other. Spread calm.
xo, BB
It’s really important that you eat super nutrient rich foods when you’re pregnant. Your baby’s brain and spine and eyes going in the right place depend on it.

We are in vulnerable times and it’s clear people want to be heard and cared for. We can only do that if we are compassionate while setting healthy boundaries for ourselves. Doing the work on yourself first; learning to be gracious, forgiving and open with your own hurts and shortcomings, naturally makes room for you to do so for others. Stop waiting for others to fix it. Stand up for the greater good, for your own heart and watch the healing begin. We get to try again, all the time.
Take no shit. Even your own.
