Priya Vadlamani Instagram – Posted @withregram • @wholetthepawsout_ They say its always easy to be ignorant, to not offend anyone by doing or saying nothing but once you encounter grief and pain, there’s no going back. It gets impossible to abandon sorrow. You’re immersed in guilt, regret and self loathing. What started as something to just feed dogs has brought me this far. Each one of us, have our tiny little paths of enlightenment where we understand life with a lot more depth and perspective. For me, my major perspectives on life, the way I’m leading it and how I choose to live in the coming future has been because of animals. They’ve taught me faith, kindness, humility, compassion and all I want to give them in return is love. Love, because the world can be a cruel cruel place. Love, because each one of us irrespective of the species deserves warmth and the feeling of home. I’d do everything in my power to cherish and protect them. My work would not have been alot for the world but with small steps, I do try to save. One life, at a time. As 24 carries me, I only hope the world turns a little more softer and kinder. I hope we push all the barriers, crash the boundaries and stay gentle in everything we do.
