How did i get my body weight back to normal ?
What worked for me ?
>Exercise (atleast 5 times a week)πͺπΌ
>meditation/yoga (whenever i feel like)π§π½ββοΈ
>Eating clean (no refined sugar, fried food, no processed foodπ«)
>Eating lots of fibre, good amount of protein, tons of green veggies,and healthy fats)
>Cutting off dairy and gluten (gradually but completely) [this one was(still is) the hardest for me] βπ₯π
>trying my best to stress out less (will seem kind of impossible initially, but you will get thereβΊοΈ)
>reading π
>not letting my body gain any weight again and maintaining it nowπ
Buttt, YES i have my cheat meals (2-3 times a month). Yes, this wasnβt easy for me. Specially cutting off dairy; because Milk and all the milk products were my lifeπ₯Ί. I was a girl who didnβt have any meal without curd(dahi), desi gheo/makhan. Mai tan kaddi naal vi dahi khaan waleyan cho siπ€£πI had to give up my favourite milkshakes and basically everything i lived and breathed forπ₯² Yet, the best part is- amazing alternatives(dairy and gluten free) are available everywhere now.
I promise you- itβs a journey that you wonβt regret when you come out on the other side of it.π₯° Because after all the most clichΓ©d phrase is the holy truth- βhealth is wealthβππ
Most importantly, all of this worked for me only when i did it sincerely and didnβt leave anything behind. You canβt expect results if you are not eating clean but only exercising or vice-versa. It all goes hand in handπ
(Do your research- read reliable articles about PCOS)
P.S. I only shared all of this because i want to help as many women as i can through my personal experience. All our bodies are different from one anotherβs, the severity of the PCOS could be different as well. So i would definitely suggest every girl/woman going through this to visit the best Nutritionist/Doc around you, who has specialized in PCOS. Please never take birth control/hormone pills (atleast not without knowing the details of them)π
CHANGE your lifestyle, Eat mindfully, do some PCOS friendly exercises ! And see the magic happenβ¨
