Vanessa Marcil Instagram – Ass update- Didn’t workout all week or drink water. Just partied and slept in Mexico. Normalizing loving our bodies with or without working out is my jam. Normalize the freedom of celebrating our bodies without accepting the shame that some people try to project onto you when you are free and naked. Being naked doesn’t mean that you are inviting sexual comments from men and it doesn’t always mean that you are “thirsty” 😝 Especially when your man is hot AF already. 👑 Expressing your joy in feeling free and uninhibited is real freedom and in my case after giving birth, many miscarriages, thyroid disease and healing through childhood trauma it feels like the ultimate accomplishment. I hid my body in my youth before I gave birth as I wanted to prove my talent and my brains were my focus. But then, I started to hide my accomplishments & my truly spectacular story too in order to downplay my life. Why? To be liked. Ridiculous that I felt I had to choose or to prove something. It does make it even more fun & satisfying to celebrate my body now yet if I had to do it again? I wouldn’t have hid my body ever… just to prove that I was more than just that. As if just being ourselves isn’t enough. It is enough and little did I know that unhappy people would try to minimize my hard work & amazing accomplishments anyway. SO listen girls…🙄 Fuck what anyone else tells you that loving your body means or how to do it correctly. Tell your story! Tell the truth about what he put you through. You don’t have to carry that pain alone. Brag about your life & your accomplishments! I’m here for it!!! I’m Not taking anything for granted ever again in order to please the un-pleaseable humans. Some people will always talk shit about you as they are jealous of your freedom AND they quite simply have too much time on their hands with no meaningful/joyful life of their own keeping them busy. If you have to downplay yourself around a dude or a group. Dump them. Leave the empty Space. Keep dancing, keep laughing, share your life story and your accomplishments with secure people cause those that mind DON’T matter and those that matter don’t mind. 👁and always.. go were the light is……
