Ashwin Kakumanu Instagram – I used to hate auditions when I started, it triggers anxieties in most actors and it certainly showed for me on screen. Most outsiders in the field go through the process and it still happens in projects where the role is based on merit and how well the actor fits the role. Nowadays I kind of enjoy auditions, and I feel like some of the best opportunities I got in ads & films were when I just had to compete with others based only on the audition, and not on popularity, politics or lineage.
