For starters, we thought our lives would be very different and that we would end up performing in Las Vegas (“something to live for”). The lyrics “we flew on paper planes” referred to the contracts that we were hoping to get with Capitol Records. Later, ironically, the lyrics continued with, “and then went underground.” We weren’t aware how foreshadowed that became. Leaving our previous bands to form SILVR we thought we knew where we were going (“I know where to go.”) There’s also a few salutations to our previous ex’s in the lyrics. Moreover, this song was originally intended for a baby product commercial, hence the bells/lull-a-by sounds. Crazy stuff, huh? . . .
