Chandrika Ravi Instagram – International Day of the Girl was declared in 2011 as a day to recognize girls rights and the challenges they face around the world. Young girls should have the right to a safe and healthy life, with access to education and resources to better their lives. We have had some incredible trail blazing women who have set examples and laid down the path to greatness for our younger generations of girls to follow in their footsteps and also be game changers and leaders in the future; but they can only achieve this if they have access to resources and are given equal rights. Their adolescent years are the most critical years of their lives, so we need to support their dreams and aspirations to break barriers and stereotypes no matter what path these beautiful girls choose to take ❤️ #dayofthegirl
