Stella Meghie Instagram – My first film JEAN OF THE JONESES is now widely available on @amazonprimevideo to stream for free and available for purchase on iTunes. Thank you to @GoldwynFilms for releasing it in America. We premiered at @SXSW against all odds (after submitting a hail mary two week cut, two weeks after the final deadline) and landed a @filmindependent Spirit Award nomination with zero marketing budget and just a handful of press. @flackadoodle had to fight for us to even get reviews.
It’s a film about my family — dedicated to my grandmother Vinette Young. It takes up an enormous amount of space in my heart. Thank you to my team for fighting to make it available.
