Bob Saget Instagram – So very proud to Host the @womensguild event Wednesday night, benefitting the Neurology Project at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. And honored to honor the amazing Barbara Herman, an incredible philanthropic and deeply caring woman, who was honored on this lovely night. Also honored, was the brilliant, legendary, Danny DeVito, also for his philanthropic endeavors and his connection to Cedars Sinai as well as his vast career which has brought joy to the world for decades. The special gift of the evening was an amazing performance by the astonishing @piatoscano who brought the house down, even though there was no roof, because it was in the lovely piazza, outdoors at The Mayboume Beverly Hills. For more than 60 years, Women’s Guild’s conviction has changed the game for much of modern medicine. The Women’s Guild Lung Institute, the Breast Center – A Project of Women’s Guild, the innovative Women’s Guild Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Skills, the Women’s Guild Chair in Gastroenterology and now their Neurology Project with Cedars-– These outstanding women have given such a gift to the people of Los Angeles and to the world. Having lost a sister years ago to a brain aneurysm, the work that these fine unstoppable women are doing means even more to me personally.
