Jon M. Chu Instagram – My hometown hero. He made the tools that gave me access to a life as a storyteller that I could have never imagined. I met him once and like a fanboy, I recited the “Think Different” commercial to him by heart 🤦🏻‍♂️… to my surprise, halfway through, he joined me. We were in perfect sync saying the words “the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” 😭I will never forget the source of inspiration he has been and continues to be in my life and my work. Thank you Mr. Jobs.
Jon M. Chu Instagram – The mannequin heads in the salon were NOT CG they were physically built and puppeteer’d. started with professional puppeteers then it became clear that they needed to be dancers to stay with the beat of the music so we got these two do it it :) apparently @tmoneymiceli and @iamemiliodosal had the unique combination of not just dancers but also gamers. Here’s a behind the scenes look at how crazy it looked. Also this was very complicated/expensive to make and I was only 50% sure this would ever make it into the movie because it was so absurd.
