Jon M. Chu Instagram – We all worked out this moment SO MANY ways to unlock the best balance of movement, truth, camera and wonder. There’s nothing like an amazing collaboration of a lot of storytellers (actors, camera crew, choreography team, producers, production design team, VFX team, Costumes, hair, make up etc etc etc) to build a moment that seems so simple… and eventually (unbeknownst to us at the time) be on the poster….Oh and that we had Batgirl on set this whole time 🤯
Jon M. Chu Instagram – Sonny. We knew he was gonna charm the audience the moment this 14 year old stepped into the audition room. It was like he looked at us and his eyes said “you know you love me”. This is a pic I took on my iPhone one late night while I’m hiding behind a counter looking at the monitors. We were exhausted. I said look over here @gregdiaz4 and didn’t realize there was a heart over his head 😂now it’s a classic.
