EXHALE: Fear does not mean ‘stop’ and pleasure does not mean ‘keep going’. There is no blueprint for your Life, and nobody will ever truly see the world through your eyes. “We are prisoners inside our own skin” as Tennessee Williams once said… And so, we thrive for those rare moments, those unique people who help us feel a spark that can lead to a fire. During this shoot, @nicolasgerardin asked me to pick up a cigarette (and I hate those things). He finally convinced me by saying it’s just to create a ‘character’… I sparked it, my body language immediately changed and as I exhaled my first puff, he clicked his 📸… An actor’s job is to be open to others, to seep in the world and people around him and express them through the prism of his soul… essentially, that’s art! When asked what he was going to stand up for, the thespian in the second photo said: “I want to fight against world hunger.” These upcoming generations are filled with love, a keen sense of harmony between the sexes and races, and a deeper yearning for a better future. It is up to us, the adults, to lend a helping hand whenever we can and empower the youth with what Mother Experience has taught us. Teaching kids about The Power of Perception is my favorite extracurricular activity, I am always so moved by their depth of soul and invigorated by a renewed love for our specie and all its wonder.
