Blast the roots of glaciers, chop down lakhs of trees, destabilize the sensitive ecology, destroy habitats, all in the name of blind development and when predicted calamities happen, call it an act of god, portray it as a loss to state, and wash your hands off. But we’re not falling for your narratives. We know who incited this. We know the authorities have been sitting on a high court judgement for over an year and half, doing absolutely nothing. In the end, it’s the local people who always suffer. First due to detrimental “development” activities, and later the repercussions of such activities.
