Rahul Bose Instagram – Like all younger brothers, I spent my childhood craving your attention. Which, like all older sisters, you met with a mixture of scorn and indifference. But when our parents picked on me they did so gingerly knowing they had to deal with your wrath at them. Little wonder I heroine worshipped you. (Something which I have fortunately refrained from doing with celluloid versions of the same). On long cross country drives with Ma and Baba across India you let me put my head in your lap and crash out for hours. Forty years later you remain my most acerbic critic and my strongest support. And on long cross country drives across India, I still put my head in your lap and sleep the sleep of the dead. I don’t believe in luck, but if there is such a thing, I lucked out in spades.
