If anyone wants to have a luxurious getaway whilst leaving a light footprint and avoiding the pretension that most 5-star resorts boast about then look no further. We took a private boat from Golfito where we happened to see a mother and calf humpback whale to a private piece of jungle paradise. You are greeted with smiles and a papaya juice 🙂 We took a stroll down a secluded beach, hiked through the jungle to a majestic waterfall, visited their organic farm, went paddle boarding and lounged in our bungalow with our own fresh water pool.
The staff became family, the food was prepared in heaven and we left saying, “how could it get better than this”. And the answer was.. it couldn’t get better. It could only be different. We will be back and I rarely say that about any place I stay because I love searching for new experiences, but this one really has to be revisited..
