I marched with Mitzi, who in the Philippines has had to to experience the destructive force of climate change her whole life.
I marched with Thomas, who has to explain to his two-year-old daughter why our beautiful planet as we know it now, may only exist in history books by the time she grows up.
These are just a few of the millions of stories. Everyone who showed up today has a story. Everyones future on the line, if we don’t act now.
I am now looking at our leaders.
By now, you have heard our stories.
It’s about time you realize, you are also a part of this story.
We need real, conscious climate leadership – and we need it now.
