Being a trans non-binary queen, drag helped me discover a side of myself that I didn’t know I needed. I’m really happy & proud that I got to work with my long-time friend Diseiye on this outfit, as they are also non-binary and an absolute star in their field. I hope you can all see this season how much love I put into this art form! Thank you to @canadasdragrace @cravecanada for giving me this platform to express my art! 🕶 Mx. Anderson… 🕶 *SPOILERS* The Matrix was directed by the Wachowski sisters, who are both trans women. The film is also an allegory for the trans experience. For this reason, I wanted to use this look to celebrate trans artistry. So I recruited 2 of my friends from Montreal, @denimpusssy and @zincofax, to show you all some trans drag excellence! The photos were also shot by the amazing non-binary photographer @nastia.jpg! Additional retouching magic by @retoucher_ryan! I was so sad to say goodbye to my sister @_thesukidoll this week. It wasn’t really shown, but we connected instantly and were quite close on the show, and Suki was a wonderful help to me in many times of self doubt. I will carry her messages of positivity with me going forward! I had unfair expectations of another competitor who was just trying to do well in the same competition, and I was completely tactless when I was trying to talk about the judging. What I love most about @kendallgender is that she is a true cheerleader for all of us. She is not shy about showing her love and appreciation for other artists, and I will never be shy about saying how much I love Kendall! I love you sis!!! The concept for this look came from my friend @theonlysapphire, and we worked tirelessly together building the structure of the head and figuring out exactly how it would all work.
