Our charity #OscarsKids was founded in honor of Oscar Keogh…and a word that is synonymous with Oscar is “magic.” So in planning the #OscarsKidsPJParty virtual event for @themomsnetwork it seemed only fitting that we have a magic show! What I didn’t factor in is that we would get the greatest magic team of all time, @pennandtellerlive to perform! I have been such a fan of theirs for as long as I can remember. Seeing their show in Vegas was one of the best live performances I have ever witnessed. I had the pleasure of working with Teller on The Big Bang Theory and although he is supposed to be the one without words, I was so starstruck upon meeting him I could barely get a sentence out. Cut to planning for our #oscarskidspjparty – I reached out to him to see if he and Penn would be up for doing a virtual performance for @oscarskidsamerica and in the blink of an eye, Penn and Teller said they were in. They then went on to deliver a phenomenal virtual show that had us in absolute awe. The generosity of Penn and Teller both donating their time to ensure our #OscarsKidsPJParty was a success just adds to their living legend status in my book. Not only are they the most brilliant, gifted, hilarious magicians and performers…they are two of the kindest, most generous humans and we are beyond thankful to them. Thank you Penn and Teller for bringing your magic to #OscarsKids! 💛
