Rubina Dilaik Instagram – Celebrated Diwali in my Village after 10 years 🪔…… The tradition of celebrating Diwali in Our village is very unique! The procession and the celebration is high on local music and dance . Our deity Shirgul Maharaj (Lord Shiva) from Dewat temple is taken out on a Palki and all the villagers celebrate the festival for two days, folk songs and local cuisines attract hundreds of devotees from neighbouring village! The procession heads to the main Kuldevi , Thor Mata Temple ( Durga Maa) in Shantha where Jagra (local term for Diwali) is culminated and everyone dances their hearts out in praise of our local deities!
