For many years I was alone on Diwali as I lived far away from my family- I’m feeling blessed that I am finally back and make it a point to be here with my family on Diwali but I did spend many diwalis by myself to decide that I wanted to move back and be with them!

I feel there’s nothing a good massage can’t heal- from a broken heart to back injury 😅
Massage is the oldest healing tradition. Many ancient people – including the Ancient Greeks, Egyptians, Chinese and us Indians – were convinced of the therapeutic properties of massage and used it to treat a variety of ailments in the past.
Ayurveda focuses a lot on massage!!!

This was the rebirth massage and was in a Temazcal – sweat lodge used by indigenous people of Mexico. It’s still very popular in Mexico.
They believe in sweating out all the toxins and negative energy for healing and good health.
Temescal or Temascal is also used for healing the sick, improving health, and for women to give birth. It continues to be used today in Indigenous cultures of Mexico and Central America for spiritual healing and health enrichment reasons.
It’s also used as a bath for women after childbirth and for sick people to cast away disease from their bodies.
Its a ritual and steam bath promoting well being and js a traditional healing method used a lot by Native Americans too

I was in Lakshadweep Kadmat island for just one day. It was heaven on earth- white sand beaches, crystal clear calm, green blue ocean. It is such a treasure and so undiscovered or not commercial. Dotted with coconut trees and sweet smiling innocent locals- I really hope it stays this way!!!
I didn’t get to scuba or snorkel this time since it was just a day but looking forward to deep-sea diving and snorkeling off this beautiful island that’s such a hidden treasure of My India!!!

Why I love Tree Houses!
1. We don’t cut trees to build these houses, we build around them.
2. Tree Houses are Escapes from the “Normal.”
You don’t see them every day. It feels different from a regular hotel.
3. I wake up to the sound of birds in the trees, makes me feel like one of them. Much better than waking to to horns like I do in the city.

I’m very fascinated by my dreams because I feel my subconscious is talking to me in my dreams and I try to remember and take notice of my dreams.
Example I’ve noticed when Ive not been secure in a relationship- I’ve dreamed that my boyfriend cheated on me. Years later I’ve found out that my dream was right. I guess my subconscious knew it all along.
Sometimes I have beautiful dreams like this. But I hear most times we remember negative dreams .
Dreams are stories and images that our minds create while we sleep. They can be entertaining, fun, romantic, disturbing, frightening, and sometimes bizarre.
It is thought that each dream lasts between 5 to 20 minutes.

Monday Motivation!
Have you had
Ideas become reality.
Exactly this time last year, I lost my GoPro on the Triund Trek. I put it in my stories and about 15 people ran up the mountain to find it. That’s when we came up with the idea of trail runs.
We set a date to it. Made it a goal. We broke it into steps. It became our plan. A plan backed by actions because our reality!!!
We decided we wanted to make it into a 3 day event- so we had workshops, we decided we wanted to serve the environment- so we came up with the idea of plogging and that’s how our first travathon was born.
We did it! No real budget, just with our spirit, enthusiasm and good will.
Thanks to all the participants who came to the first one.
Every travathon will be same same but different.
We will have an eco conscious angle to all of them.
We will have different workshops in all of them.
We will have a run or hike or swim or something physical in every one of them.
We will curate them all differently in different parts of India. Next one will be slightly fancier.
Hope to see you in Jan or Feb for the next one in Rajasthan!! 💕

Which place in india has the cutest cafes and restaurants with the best fusion food??
For me, it’s Pondicherry.
Puducherry may not have as many Michelin star restaurants like Paris but here is a city that blends South India cuisine with cordon blue-inspired cuisine to rival India’s best restaurant’s.
It has small humble coffee shops to fancy cafes and restaurants.
I really enjoy this city for its food and cafes!!
PS -The Courtyard Restaurant in Le Maison Perumal is my favourite ❤️ but in the video I’ve just shown you fusion cafes
