Just let it be… (Yes, I do talk out loud to myself🙋🏻♀). For those who haven’t heard about this, it’s a skin condition wherein you get tiny bumps on the skin. I promise they aren’t as bad as your mind and your neighbor aunty makes it out to be 🙎🏻♀🤷🏻♀) I developed this skin condition during my teenage years, and there is still no cure for it. I’ve dealt with it for many years now and today finally, I decided to let go of all my fears and insecurities and found the courage to love and accept my ‘flaws’ wholeheartedly. I also found the courage to share my truth with you. Phew! 😅 I didn’t feel like airbrushing my folliculitis or smoothing that ‘under-eye’ or ‘shaping up’ that waist a tiny bit more! And yet, I feel beautiful 🙂 A special thanks to my amazing team ❤️ @alliaalrufai : styling @rahuljhangiani : photographer @amitthakur_hair : hair @mitalivakil : make-up Hello my insta family, I recently shot for some images and just when they were about to go in for post-production (a common procedure) to conceal my skin-condition called Keratosis- Pilaris, I thought, ‘Hey Yami, why don’t you embrace this fact and accept it enough to be OKAY with it. It wasn’t easy as it took 3 hours for me to get into this look and 45 mins to get out of it, each day, shooting bare feet & with cable work, throughout the chilly nights in Himachal… Despite my neck injury, I wanted to do everything myself, and my Yoga practice helped me to achieve it to a great extent. Although, I wish I could take some professional training but the pandemic restrictions made it impossible at that time. I did whatever best I could on the set! These are a part of the challenges that come along with the profession I love so much! ❤️ And I will do it again and again! Thank you for giving me so much love, again & making the pain seem absolutely worth it! ❤️🤗 Thank you @shoma_goswami and your crew for bringing this look to life, master ji @javedkarimactiondirector for all his guidance & precautions. It wouldn’t have been the same without your support. And a very special mention & gratitude for @rupesh_tillu ! He not only had us in splits in the film for the part he played but also coached me for my possession parts ! We met for the first time on the set itself & I had no idea about Rupesh’ outstanding ability to coach & guide an actor, and the way selflessly he volunteered, until we started interacting about my role & he started sharing his inputs ! Helped me immensely 🙏🏻💫 My love for horror films was one of the main reasons that got me excited to play the part in #BhootPolice, where I get ‘possessed’. I still remember my first day on set. It was the scene where Pari finds out that ‘Mera pati Ganja hai’! My nervousness was directly proportional to @amarkaushik’s confidence in me. I questioned my director about why he wanted to start the shoot with such a challenging scene & not something far simpler but he asked me to trust him & go for it. And he was right, this was the first take & I just feel that was the moment that set the tone for Pari! And the journey ahead was one of only fun or as Amar said ‘chalo khelte hain’. It’s been 2 years since Bala and all these fond memories are etched in my heart. Working with a talented crew and cast – Amar, Dinesh, Ayushmann, Bhumi on one of the best-written scripts was an incredible journey and one of my most cherished moments. Special mention to; Sourabh sir, Seema ma’am, Javed Jaffery, and Abhishek Banerjee. This was an opportunity that came to me at a very crucial time in my life! Pari made me let go of all my inhibitions & allowed me to be free. Many were doubtful if I could pull off that role but it takes 1 person’s faith & conviction to change everything for you! I’ll always be grateful to Amar for this! This is a celebration not just for a film but for the joy of working on good scripts, beautifully created characters & amazing teamwork ❤️ #happy2yearsBala #Dino @nirenbhatt @pvijan @maddockfilms @ayushmannk @bhumipednekar @nowitsabhi #Seemapahwa #saurabhshukla @jaavedjaaferi @anujdhawan13 @abhishekkapur20 @sachinjigar @nehakamra_ & entire team 🙏🏻 TagsYami Gautam Previous articleSinger Haricharan Instagram Photos and Posts November 2021Next articleActor PewDiePie HD Photos and Wallpapers November 2021
