🚨 Julius Jones is scheduled to be wrongfully executed by the state of Oklahoma THIS week. 🚨
There is absolutely no reason why this should happen.
Governor Kevin Stitt’s own Pardon and Parole Board TWICE recommended that Julius be spared from this execution.
Playing politics with the life of an innocent individual who has already been subjected to 20 years of wrongful incarceration is cruel. But that’s the thing about the death penalty—every single aspect of it is cruel.
I am encouraging each of you to use your voice for Julius Jones over the next several days. Make phone calls to Governor Stitt’s office, send an email, and urge your elected officials to use THEIR platforms to speak out against this wrongful execution.
