Arawinda Kirana Instagram – A little bit about my outfit at FFI✨
You all know me firstly as “that #Berkain girl”😂 And how I love representing my identity through fashion, specifically kain Indonesia.
For my very first red carpet event, I was lucky enough to meet @jonathandytan and his assistant @gloriastephanie__, people who listened, and were willing to collaborate to help channel my identity through pieces that truly represented what I stand for.
This gorgeous sheer kebaya top I am wearing is from @___anw, which is then layered by the most breathtaking contemporary purple top by @hiantjen, crafted with Indonesian textiles. Bedazzled with jewelry by @tuloladesigns and @houseofjealouxy, and brushed flawlessly by @ryanogilvy and @firdajeanhair.
What was very special, was that I wore a couple of personal good-luck tokens that night.
1) The tusuk konde I was wearing is part of the most exquisite antique Mahkota Bugis set, which my partner @bukiegn gifted to me for my birthday last month.
2) The kain I wore that night was Songket Tenun Baron, from my personal collection, which previously belonged to my mother.
