Carla Gugino Instagram – 20 years ago today, I looked out my window where the tips of the Twin Towers would greet me from my little kitchen window every morning. That morning by the time I could put together the horror of what was happening, one was already a billow of smoke. While grappling with the devastation and tragic loss of life that day, I was also struck by watching the people of this magnificent city pull together. Today I remember and honor all those who were casualties of this act of hatred and their families. And all of those who chose love and banded together to rebuild this city and lift its people back up. As I look at the Freedom Tower 20 years later, I am heartened by the resilience of human beings and even more determined in my faith that we can come together as one. ♥️🙏 9/11 #nyc #freedom | Posted on 12/Sep/2021 08:45:36
