It’s a takeover! ✨ When I visited Uganda with UNHCR, I was blown away by Wakaga Empire, a collective of refugee models, singers, artists and many more from all around Africa who won Nakivale’s Got Talent contest, a competition where people showcased their skills on a shared stage.
For #WorldRefugeeDay, I’m so excited to hand over my Instagram Stories to them where they will share a glimpse of their life, how they’ve formed such a special community together and their message to you all. I truly hope they will inspire you as much as they have me. ❤️
