Maya Sundarakrishnan Instagram – We ( @keerthipandian and I ) had an opportunity to visit some amazing patients at SCARF . @scarfindia is a rehabilitation center for people suffering from schizophrenia . Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder which affects how a person thinks, feels and behaves. Symptoms include hallucination, delusion, false belief, slowness in activity, fear, speech disorder and much more. Our session was filled with laughter, fun and play . Through improvisation, imagination, puppetry, magic, music, movement and storytelling One in five adults experience a mental health condition every year.
