Pallavi Sharda Instagram – The hottest couple that Delhi’s IIT campus ever saw. Here are my parents on this day 40 years ago on the campus where they met, were married and lived. Who knew that they would be married and then leave the country they called home within 3 years with their first born a few weeks old – my bhaia, that they would have their second child in Australia (me!) who would become obsessed with the land of her heritage and the place that explained the reason for her being. That the four of us would be so Indian, so Aussie, so similarly defiant & resilient as humans. It’s been a while ride since the eighties for the two Shardas of New Delhi and their ensuing kiddos… but here we are, richer for the marriage, the migration, the magic and the tumult.
