Payal Rohatgi Instagram – #PengShuai एक Chinese tennis player सुर्ख़ीयों में है एक महीने से क्योंकि उन्होंने China के vice president के ऊपर sexual allegations लगाए हैं। ये allegations के बाद वो कोई भी public platform पर दिखाई नहीं दी गई। बाद में उनकी तरफ़ से 1 email public किया गया जहाँ पर वो अपने allegations को वापस ले रही थी या कह रही थी की वो allegations उनके ख़ुद के नहीं है। अब WTA ने tournament China के अंदर ख़ारिज कर दिए हैं । उनका कहना है कि जब तक Peng के इल्ज़ामों के ऊपर investigation नहीं करी जाएगी और दूध का दूध, पानी का पानी नहीं पता चलेगा, तब तक China के अंदर हरेक खिलाड़ी की सुरक्षा एक गंभीर विषय बनकर रहेगा। मैं समझती हूँ Peng अपने जीवन में इस औदे पर पहुंचकर झूठे इल्ज़ाम नहीं लगाएंगी क्योंकि अगर ये allegations झूठे साबित हो जाते हैं तो नुक़सान सबसे ज़्यादा उनको ही है और उनका career सफल career है। भारतीय feminist और दुनिया भर की feminist को Peng के साथ खड़े रहना चाहिए और उनको न्याय मिले उसके लिए आवाज़ उठानी चाहिए क्योंकि है तो वो एक महिला और अगर महिला के साथ एक पुरुष ने ग़लत किया है, अपने ओहदे का ग़लत फ़ायदा उठाया है तो इस मामले की तहक़ीक़ात तक पहुँचना ज़रूरी है 🙏
