Cherry Valentine Instagram – Happy 1 year anniversary since the cast announcement for Drag Race UK Season 2!
When we were shooting this, I don’t think I was prepared for how much my life would change – it’s no understatement saying everything has changed! A year ago I was doing drag for £30 a night on the side, nursing full time, in a long term relationship, living in a small town, and struggling with who I was.
Now I live in London, growing every day with acceptance for myself, my single heart is healing, and drag has allowed me to work toward opportunities that I will be eternally thankful for; and I will be forever humbled by the constant support from every single person I’ve met and who has ever been kind along the way, thank you.
The best things happen outside of our comfort zones.❤️
