I adored every single day with my magical company, who invested their heart and souls into telling this story. Big congrats to my stage husband @bendanielsss, who couldn’t be more deserving of his nomination – I’m so very proud of you – a MASSIVE thank you to @mrdominiccooke our brillant director who we’d have all be lost without and to the @nationaltheatre for reviving this incredibly important play, on such a big stage. Going on that journey every night with our audiences was a true honour and a privilege. Doing work, so close to my heart, about vitally important queer history – history! – that spoke to so many people on such profound levels, in so many different ways, was the epitome of why I love my job. I just wish everyone could’ve have seen it ♥️ I’ve never been more proud of anything I’ve done. Recognition from those very people is the highest possible compliment.
