Jonathan Lipnicki Instagram – #TBT October 27th made 21 years since this movie came out. I didn’t realize that many people had even seen this until I started doing conventions. It was a wild ride and a long shoot. Six weeks in Scotland and almost 5 months ( I believe) in Germany. The shoot was delayed twice. One time it was because I was playing with my dog and his canine tooth got lodged in my lip leaving a gash (freak accident). My dog took it really hard and you could tell for a long time after he felt horrible about it. I remember being scared and going to a German plastic surgeon to get it fixed, I couldn’t communicate with any of the doctors or nurses and that made it even scarier. The doctor did a great job, and didn’t even leave a scar. The second time was an incident with my flying harness where being up in the air so long at a weird angle strained some muscles in my back and neck. A chiropractor rehabilitated me, and that’s why to this day I believe so heavily in it, as you can see by my IG stories. I learned a lot about the endurance of a tough shoot and being the lead in a movie. It was a lot of pressure at a young age but “pressure makes diamonds.”The universe won’t give you anything you can’t handle. 21 years later and i’m still doing this shit. Grateful for everybody who has watched this and I’m proud of what we accomplished.
