One has to understand that festive seasons can really hamper your spirit and bring down your mood when you are dealing with #typeonediabetes .
Lets face it that every festival comes with ample of good food.
You are surrounded by goodies you can but SHOULD NOT be eating. It is a downright mood dampener and especially this month i have not had it easy.
I have had fasting levels of 200 and crazy amount of hypos cuz i had to keep correcting with extra doses as i kind of LET GO.
Is it worth it?
Well its debatable. Some say its ok to do that cuz majority of the times we have it under control. Sometimes it is OKKK to indulge. Well i indulged but woke up with a guilt every morning.
It hasnt been easy but i hope to not get swayed often 🙄

Well its often said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Truth be told each meal is important but for different reasons. Since breakfast is the very first meal of the day i call it my prep meal which determines my blood glucose control for the rest of the day.
1.Overnight oats has to be my favourite favourite breakfast option. I keep going back to it every other day
2 Cut seasonal fruits give me the right fibre along with the right amount of carbohydrates that are needed for my body to work at its optimum best
3. It may not be ideal to blend your fruit but everytime im in a rush i do fall prey to this hack. It doesn’t give me a spike and keeps me full for long
4 Everytime i miss my hot paranthas straight off the tawa i treat myself to moong dal chilas which are high in protein and by adding veges in it i also dont devoid myself of the right amount of fibre
5 coconut milk with cut fruits is the lightest on my tummy. It also aids in promoting healthy hair and skin.
