Candace Owens Instagram – It’s taken me awhile to say this out loud but it feels like the right time to tell you all that my grandfather passed away in early September. For those of you that know me at all— for those of you that have read my book or attended any of my speeches—you know that Granddad was my life. How many people can you honestly say have never let you down?—Never not once. My grandfather is, was, and will forever be that person to me. Simply put, he was a giant amongst men. I loved him deeply, I love him deeply. I will miss his unconditional love, every single day for the rest of my life. My grandfather taught me how to ride a bike. My grandfather stood behind me 30 years later as I testified on Congress. My grandfather introduced me to Christ. Granddad taught me how to be brave in a world that demands cowardice. He believed in me always, until I learned to believe in myself. I don’t want to waste time trying to find the right words because every sentence would fall short. I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, that I wish that granddads could live forever. So tonight on Candace, we suspend politics and we honor the Giant: Granddad.
