I’m so proud to share this PSA, uniting Nina Simone’s voice with Michelle Obama’s voice with the voices of the next generation of women to encourage ALL WOMEN to use our voices for this democracy.
This has been nothing less than a labor of love and endurance thanks to an incredible group of people. So thankful to @michelleobama for lending her powerful voice, Sony and Nina Simone’s estate for supporting us with this song, the amazing activists, athletes and actors who took the time to be a part of this, couldn’t have done it without @ash_sarohia, @hugoandmarie and Emma Blackman, @andreworkin for the stirring rendition of the song, @inezandvinoodh, @shilpay and @shiffonco for inspiring me so much… we will be ok if this girl gang is the future of our country.
