Kelly McCreary Instagram – Leaving 2021 with peace in my spirit. This was a helluva full year for our family. We grew in number and in love and strength. Indigo has already hit the reset button for us, renewing our values, our sense of purpose, humbling and teaching and delighting us each and every day. We endured multiple hospitalizations, a lot of sickness, and thankfully saw a lot of healing. I vomited more times than you can possibly imagine. And then remember that time I burned my face — my FACE!— while cooking? Vaccinations opened the door to our first dinner out, first flight, first family gatherings after 15 months of staying our butts at home. Spent more beautiful time with my original family than I have been able to do in years. Not taking those moments for granted anymore. Went from a camera roll full of dog photos to one full of baby photos (sorry, Motown). My eyebrows, in general, looked great. And I managed to get this holiday makeup on with one hand while holding this baby. Accomplishments, y’all. Change, too. Trauma. Healing. Fun. Miracles. And so much love. We made it through because of that. Happy New Year to you. I wish you a year with more of what you want and all of what you need. 💙💙💙
