Anybody who has seen me this week has heard me go on and on (and on and on and on) about my incredible/Life-changing experience of stumbling upon “The Visitors” by Ragnar Kjartansson at The Broad. Of course, art is subjective… but I haven’t been so moved by a piece of art for as long as I can remember… I just went for the second time and have now seen it 3 times in full (I actually read an interview with the artist who says it was never intended to be watched all the way through – however, I couldn’t be pulled away) If you love full immersion and being moved to laughter/dance/tears and love big music swells and emotional performances go see it! Even though it was made in 2012, I especially felt the meaning and effectiveness in our pandemic world today. Tickets are free. That’s my PSA. Xo kr @thebroadmuseum (has anyone here seen it?!)
