The number of corruption cases reported this year is the lowest in the last 4 years, sources said. The pandemic impact is quite visible as the number has plunged from a peak of 332 cases to a low of 162 in the three years of 2019, 2020 and 2021, compared to 2017-2018. According to data, 148 cases were registered in 2017, 332 in 2018, 255 in 2019, 199 in 2020 and 162 till December 28, 2021.
