Right before the mosquitos ate me alive. 🌊🌺💦
After 2 years of heartbreak, loss, and disappointment, It’s not lost on me how blessed I was this year. Grateful for everyone I met and all that I got to experience.🤍

You’ll have days when you feel like you’re on top of your game and days when you’ll feel like everyone is getting ahead of you and as happy as you may be for them somewhere inside you’ll feel your gut hurting because you’re falling behind. I’ve been feeling like this a lot lately and if any if you feel this way too I just want to say it’s okay. It’s okay because it’s not about who’s ahead of who. It’s about how much those ahead of you inspire you to hustle harder to try and get ahead. Ahead of where you are today. Not ahead of someone else because no one’s ever in the same place as someone else. It’s just not rational to think everyone can go at the same pace. Every time I feel as though I’m falling behind I hustle just a bit harder. And harder. And harder until I get the momentum I need to keep going. | @aminsh72
Did ya’ll see that dunk 🤾🏽♂️🖐🏾
Just an overall appreciation post but since it’s international day of the girl and I never posted any photos from commencement I thought I’d post a few with my girls which I absolutely adore and am so very proud of. Throughout high school we laughed together and cried together but most importantly we helped each other as we grew together. So while we’re on the subject I’ve included some other people that I’m forever grateful for because without them my high school experience would not have been as wonderful. The guys of the infamous Persian circle who were always there during lunch to either try to eat all your food or make you laugh until you lost your appetite and help with any math, chem, or physics questions you had. Mr. Singer, my grade 10 and 11 drama teacher who fought for me to get into the Claude Watson arts program to study my dream of acting and has had my back ever since. And last but not least, Dave Bradley. The man who was always there in the halls just when you needed him. Whether it was for an emotional breakdown or because you needed someone in a tutu for your performance. In my case he was my best friend. He’s been there for me when I was having such a bad day that I was speechless to when my stage fright almost kept me from having the best experience of my life. When I directed my first lunchtime theatre and when I just wanted to grab a frosty. I owe so much of who I am today to all of these people and I wish you all the best, especially my ladies because it’s your day and you deserve it. ❤️ #internationaldayofthegirl #👯 #appreciationpost
