Just a friendly reminder that this is 2021, and this shit won’t run anymore. When everyone(well almost) is trying to unlearn toxic behavioural patterns, stigmas and perceptions, fighting for women’s rights, and actively creating a space for everyone to love their bodies, Sadly, here we are taking 20000 steps back(sigh).
I honestly did not want to give this video any attention (because it honestly deserved none), but I’m writing this today, because I realised this is so much bigger than me, and I don’t want any woman/girl growing up in an environment where conversations like this dictate the norm.
@kairalitv , it’s a wonder you let content this defamatory run on your channel. It’s time to be a lot more responsible about the kind of content that goes up, specially when you serve as a platform that has the power to influence change, shouldn’t such horribly backward views be screened and honestly discouraged! So that the little girls and boys that watch your platform, learn that their bodies are theirs, and theirs alone. That no one, not even randomn chechis and chetans on their tv /mobile screens can tell them what to do /what to wear.
I mean it’s high time isn’t it? Girls and boys if your listening. Wear whatever the hell you want, express yourself, do what makes you happy, spread joy, be kind, and mind your own damn business.
Here I am, learning to love my body, and express myself in my favourite form of art, fashion and cinema, and darling I’m not going to stop doing what I love, what I want, for anyone 😁
So no, I’m never going to stop doing ‘photoshoots’. I’m going to keep serving looks like the queen I am👑.
