Fiann Smithwick Instagram – Two ichthyosaurs I found on the Jurassic Coast around a decade ago. On the left is a juvenile Temnodontosaurus platyodon and on the right is an adult Ichthyosaurus communis. The fact that the Temno is a juvenile and the Ichthyosaurus is an adult gives you an impression of the size difference between these two species!
