Jon Lajoie Instagram – I grew up with eight brothers and sisters, you’d think it would be easy to get lost in the fold. I never expected my father to make it to any of my weeknight hockey matches, especially since most of my siblings played sports or were involved in extra curricular activities. Yet, without fail, I’d inevitably look up into the stands and there he was, still in his work clothes, cheering me on. And strangely, all of my siblings had the same experience. I seriously think he invented a teleportation device. And to this day, everyone who is lucky enough to be in my father’s life has a similar experience. From his children, to his grandchildren, his friends, his neighbors, to his church community… How does he have the time to be lovingly present and so generous with his time for so many people simultaneously? Again, the teleportation device theory seems quite plausible. But then again, I think it might just be love. Happy Father’s Day to the best dad ever made in the world. I love you. Montreal, Quebec
