Kevin Patrick Egan Instagram – We’re saying goodbye to our sweet Maisie in Chicago. My beloved Grama. My friend. A classy lady that lived 90 years, and laughed and loved every step of the way. She had a way about her that was such a gift, because you always felt high on life after spending time with her. We lived together for a couple of months when I first moved to Chicago in 2009. Her love and encouragement absolutely kept me going at a time when I found it so difficult to find a TV job in America. I remember the smell of coffee and bacon was what I’d usually wake up to. And the laughs and chats watching David Letterman over a glass of vino was how we’d end our day. Maisie was a hallmark movie Grama. So warm, so generous, and always there for her family and friends. My Grampa Jack passed away 25 years ago, yet sometimes you’d think he was still there by the way Maisie spoke about him with her bright, infectious smile. Jack was the love of her life. I’d love to think they’re waltzing away on a dance floor upstairs right about now. You were a treasure, Grama. Love you ♥️
