Michelle Harrison Instagram – My boys got me this hat for Christmas and it’s got me thinking about schools and my kids and how we can keep them safe. Micro aggressions are real and harmful. Teachers can have a huge impact on students by the way they teach, what they teach, and the words they use. It’s important for parents to be #antitacist and be an example of what kind of person to be. Educate yourself. Learn black history. Learn about your own biases (cause we all have them), listen to experiences of others that may be different from your own. And if someone says they have had a racist experience, please believe them.
