Neetu Chandra Instagram – My memories from Norte Dame Academy, my school in Patna are so beautiful and vivid. I remember being a shy kid. Being tall, I had to always sit at the back as a back bencher. Now, looking back, gives me so much joy. I’ve enjoyed every aspect from my school days, be it studies, sports, theatre or extra curricular activities. I was a good student but I didn’t like studying too much, as compared to sports and extra curricular activities and felt I was wasting my time. But I realised that education was so important and went on with the flow. I now realise I could have done much better in school but those days were different, as a young girl busy with so many activities. Being an avid sports person, I remember representing India in sports when I was in 9th grade and my state as well, a couple of times. I’ve even received the best student award from Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji. I still remember all my teachers Tejashri Malhotra, Purrnima Verma, Rekha Srivastav, Sandya Sinha, Mrs. Prakash, Mrs.Kapoor, my PT teacher Mishra sir and my principal, Sister Mary. I was blessed to have recieved the love and support of all my teachers and principal. I’m also grateful to my teachers, who helped fortifying my roots and teaching me to do everything I can do today in the world. So these are my beautiful school memories, the school that imbibed such great values in me that have stayed on even after all these years gone by.
