That’s the exciting work happening at @bioversityciat and #FutureSeeds. @JeffBezos, @laurenwsanchez, and the Bezos Earth Fund team recently visited this state-of-the-art seed bank and are pledging $17 million to support it in creating the #climate resilient and carbon absorbing crops of tomorrow. We believe it will open the window to developing new seed crops that can absorb more carbon in their roots, depositing more carbon in the soil. This process reduces agricultural carbon emissions while providing more security to farmers facing a changing climate.
