I started this year with a list of intentions, one of which was to be more invested in my relationship with my parents… Getting to know them properly, as an adult, through new eyes.
Through conversations had this year alone, my understanding of just how much we ask of and are given by the mothers (and or chosen maternal figures) in our lives is unquantifiable.
