Ali Bastian Instagram – Reason’s why this woman here @clairesuzanneinsta is the best Auntie in the world!… 🌏🌈❤️It was my nephew, her beautiful son’s 1st Birthday this weekend and the dream was to throw him a little family gathering. My little has food allergies and the thought of a kid’s party is pretty daunting… this was our first one. With Covid chaos making it pretty impossible to organise even the most modest of gatherings… somehow Claire and my amazing in-laws also committed to making not only the party, but the entire weekend totally allergen free!!!! I could breathe out 💞. I won’t lie, there were tears. Seeing Isla and her cousins play freely, sit around a table together and eat cake… with me at no point feeling like I needed eyes in the back of the head… I could give my hyper vigilance and my nervous system a well earned break whilst my little one soaked up all the love and support from her little tribe… and most importantly, we could celebrate our little man’s first trip around the sun. ❤️❤️❤️ Ridiculously, I didn’t get a photo of us together, so this is one from when there were still nights out, sleep and high lights! Love you Claire, thank you so much for all the thought you put into holding the space for us to all feel safe when I know you are as cross eyed with sleep deprivation as I am 😂❤️ Thank you to @joshmayescooper and your beautiful fam for taking it all so seriously whilst making it seem like no big deal! And special thanks to @mygammies Free-from bakery who I bought the cake from – not an Ad, just a shout out for an amazing small business that totally gets it!!! Thank you for your kindness… the cake and doughnuts were made with so much love and again, what a dream to just trust that it would all be ok… and it was… more than. We all LOVED it 💫
