Anisha Alla Instagram – Post my first sunset after touching down, Nikola and I made it to a beach that isn’t too close, nor too far. We are staying in the more interior parts of Goa.
We went to the beach together after almost 3 months now. Two days before we left last time, Nikola beat his fear of the big waves and swam out to me, in the ocean.
Last evening was extremely magical for me because I was trying to teach him how to swim. And he really wanted to learn. It’s been overwhelming and beautiful really, the journey with this one.
He jumped and swam and, practiced a bit, all just as the Sun was going down. His motivation was to be by me as the Sun said goodbye.
And so we swam.
When he got tired, he decided to raid my clothes bag on the beach, which he was guarding up until then.
We then walked along the beach as we dried off, before going home to such a fresh dinner, just waiting to be cooked, for us both.
It is moments like these that remind me of who I am, and what really matters with being, and being happy.
