Home Actress Darshana Rajendran HD Photos and Wallpapers March 2022 Darshana Rajendran Instagram - My world is filled with people I am in awe of. People I’m always wishing to work with - actors, musicians, designers, teachers - the list goes on. Doing what I do, I have been fortunate enough to get to work with some of them. But every time I see a new performance I’m inspired by, this list gets longer. During the pandemic we all found ways to make art on phones and through zoom calls. I missed being at work very much, but loved how easily some ‘not so ideal’ things took off. Anything was enough to hold on - ‘until we get back to stage again, until shoot starts again!’ Fortunately work has resumed, but I’ve decided to continue doing some small things in my own small way. I plan to collaborate with the people on my list, to make things align myself. I’ll just read a children’s book with them, or a poem maybe? Maybe not be so scared and just sing together, or make a small movement piece, or cook together. The possibilities seem endless. What I know for sure is that I’d love to do a lot more of what I enjoy doing with these people. So here’s a start. My first collaborator has been my permanent collaborator since childhood. One I didn’t have a choice with, but also one who consistently inspires me with her work - my sister Bhavana. There might be very little we agree on, but on kids and theatre we certainly do. On World Theatre Day, we’re reading this lovely children's book that @yaminivijayan recommended - ‘Dear Greenpeace’ by Simon James. I’ve got jitters. The good ones :) And oh, Happy World Theatre Day :) #smallthingswithbigpeople
